GEORGE W. JUMPS FROM PLANE WITH DAD BUT FORGETS PARACHUTE
Former President George H.W. Bush celebrated his 80th birthday Sunday with a successful tandem parachute jump -- harnessed to a member of the Army's Golden Knights parachute team -- from 13,000 feet over his presidential library. Unfortunately, George Jr. was not so lucky. In his boyish exhiliration to join his father for the stunt, the current President forgot to jump with his parachute on. Specatators watching the event from the ground cheered for the ex-President when he landed, but watched in silent horror a George W. fell freely through the sky and landed with a giant thud. Luckily, the President, known for being hard-headed, landed on his head and sustained no serious injuries.
