NEW IRAQI GROUP THREATENS BEHEADING IF PHILIPPINES WITHDRAWS

A new Iraqi vigilante group has released a video in which they threaten to behead a second Filipino captive if the Philippines withdraws all its troops from Iraq. The new threat has plunged the goverment of President Gloria macapagal Arroyo into a crisis. It faces the dilemna of a beheaded Filipino irrespective of which course of action it takes. Critics blame the government for capitulating to the initial terrorists demand and thus opening themselves up for further extortion. According to sources inside the Arroyo administration, the current plan is to withdraw only half the troops.
