US FORCES TO REALIGN; WILL SURROUND PARIS

President Bush said today that American military stength in Europe and Asia would be reduced by 60,000 to 70,000 troops over the next decade in the biggest realignment of forces since the cold war. In addition, the remaining Europe-based forces would be used to surround Paris and apply pressure for 'regime change' in France. The French government has launched a formal protest, but is preparing white flags just in case.
